kitchen wall plaque

The walls that hold up our home and protect us have long been a contact point for interesting decoration. Even outside our home we can see graffiti as some also consider a form of wall art. These days, subtle details such as kitchen wall plates, wall hangings in the living room or alternative ways to paint our walls, everyone can lend to this art technique.

One of the most famous pieces of this type of art is by Michelangelo of the last judgment on the Altar wall in the Sistine Chapel in Rome. He was 74 years when he took over as the architect of Saint Peter’s Basilica. Of course, it is unlikely that many of us would go to this type of extreme when it comes to decorating our home.

Why we love wall decoration if they are paintings, painting techniques, hangings, retro Wall Plaques are quite interesting. In fact, if someone has a skill to paint a roof or adorn it with art it can be very effective if it is nothing difficult. This is undoubtedly part of the answer to why we love what we can do to decorate our walls, but apart from this it is deep in our roots.

Cave paintings were made by our ancestors as far back as 32,000 years ago. We are not quite sure about these paleolithic cave paintings were purely for decorative purposes or it was more for them. However, there are some theories that say they may have been for spiritual reasons or as a way to communicate with others.

When it comes to communicating with others, if it would be true, it shows in some ways we have not changed so much. If a person takes the time to make his walls more decorative, so many of us love to do, at least talk the personality and style of the decorator and family environment out of the walls to visitors.

In an easier way if someone uses a wall hanging from a beautiful eastern place where maybe they had traveled once, it does not just lose the room but is also a communication piece when visitors arrive. It is definitely true that the walls can end up as a talking point when the right setting used. Another fun way to decorate for example in the kitchen is by putting in a retro kitchen wall plaque.

These are both decorative and often humorous at the same time. There are many to find and one of my personal favorites is the cooking with vintage plate. This says: “I cook with wine sometimes I add it to the food.” There is something very charming and homely about these retro kitchen signs.

Our Cavemen ancestors had no doubt a sense of humor as well. Perhaps their version of a kitchen wall plate may have involved animal bones as opposed to decorated tin; I guess we don’t know for sure!

It is fascinating that in some ways we have kept aspects of our Caveman ancestor and in others moved on enormously. When it comes to our environment, we still decorate our walls as they did. Yet the lovely Dinky Kitchen Wall Plaques had we do? http://www.madmolly.co.uk/find_the_3_daughters?c=163.
